ABOUT ME
Jed Brown, BA (Hons), PgC, is a meditation and sound healing practitioner with over eight years of meditation practice. His background includes extensive experience in Buddhist meditation, with deep familiarity of the eight form and formless jhānas, alongside broader contemplative traditions.
While rooted in Buddhist practice, Jed’s approach is not limited to Buddhism. Through study and personal exploration, he has engaged with mudra practice, subject–object meditation, and mindfulness, as well as contemplative methods found in both Abrahamic and Dharmic traditions. This gives him a universal, inclusive framework that can be adapted to people of different beliefs, backgrounds, and worldviews—including secular and scientific perspectives.
Jed holds a BA (Hons) in Music and Sound Production, with dissertation research exploring music, religion, Solfeggio frequencies, and sound healing, forming the foundation of his integrative sound-based work. His postgraduate studies in Psychology, with strengths in Biopsychology, Cognition and Language, Personality, Intelligence, and Social Psychology, inform how he structures sessions, communicates concepts, and supports behaviour change.
Based in Dorset, UK, and holding enhanced DBS clearance, Jed integrates guided meditation, Solfeggio frequency sound healing, and evidence-informed psychological approaches to create immersive, grounded wellbeing experiences. His sessions help individuals and groups reduce stress, improve focus, and cultivate emotional balance in a safe, professional, and non-judgmental environment.
Jed is available for mindfulness, meditation, and sound healing sessions with an outcall rate of £30 per hour. Concessionary rates for students are available—please get in touch for more information.
Jed prides himself on promoting peace and awareness for all, with accessibility and affordability at the heart of his work.
